Five-Year Seppeltsfield Port Cask Single Malt

Price range: $220.00 through $240.00

FIVE-YEAR SEPPELTSFIELD PORT CASK SINGLE MALT

In a quiet, dimly lit warehouse, nestled among towering casks of whisky in patient slumber, one small barrel held a story unlike any other. It was a rare 100-litre Seppeltsfield port cask, its oak steeped in forty years of fortified wine before a bold young single malt found its way inside.

The cask was small, but its history was immense. Over five years, the whisky and wood became one. The deep red-stained staves, once home to rich Australian port, lent their secrets to the spirit. Each season intensified the exchange – the summer heat pushing whisky into the oak, drawing out decades of soaked-in fruit and spice; the cooler winters tightening the grain, allowing the malt to reclaim its character, now woven with port’s decadent influence.

When the cask was finally opened, the whisky poured into the glass with a mesmerizing hue—deep amber with glints of ruby, a visual hint at the richness within.
